Who Should Attend?

- If you have an interest in becoming a qualified yoga instructor, specializing in the unique     Yoganize style of yoga or wish to teach yoga in a varied format. 

 - If you would like to learn more about yoga as a tool for transformation and harmony of mind, body, and spirit.  You may never wish to teach, but you will gain benefit from the insights obtained, so that your personal and home practice will be enhanced. 
 - You must have been in a regular yoga practice for a minimum of 6 months by the application date and 12 months prior to beginning the course. 

When and Where?
All training sessions are planned to be held at the Yoga East Studio and/or another location in the close vicinity.  The course is for a total of 200 hours of training, which will include hands-on training, assignments, and teaching practice.  You must attend all three weeks of training, but if there is an urgent need to miss a session, then a private lesson will be arranged at an additional cost.  The following dates are scheduled:  

Sunday, October 9th - 16th, 2016
Sunday, February 12th - 19th, 2017 
Sunday, April 23rd - 30th, 2017

1st Sunday: 10:30am - 7:30pm
Monday:  12:00pm - 8:00pm
Tues, Wed, and Thurs: 8:30am - 5:30pm 
Friday:  12:00pm - 8:00pm
Saturday:  12:00pm - 5:00pm
2nd Sunday:  9:00am - 5:00pm

200 Hour Yoga Teacher Training​

After completion of the Yoganize Teacher Training course, you will be a qualified yoga teacher, eligible to register with the Yoga Alliance.  This is a truly unique opportunity to learn from Karen Noonan, who originated her program in South Africa and currently resides in Germany. We are grateful that she is making her journey back to the U.S. to share her life changing program.  This is the first time she has offered training for new instructors in five years and only 10 participants will be accepted into this course.  If you have an interest in becoming a yoga teacher or would like to learn more about yoga as a tool for transformation and harmony of mind, body, and spirit, then you should consider joining her in this amazing learning opportunity. 

Karen Noonan is the owner and sole member of Yoganize, LLC.  Karen is registered as an Experienced Yoga Teacher with Yoga Alliance (E-RYT 500) and a Certified Yoga Therapist with International Yoga Therapists (IAYT).  Karen's initial background is in teaching Physical Education and English as a first language.  This makes her a stickler for safety in movement and alignment principles, as it serves the needs of the individual.  She has certifications in various styles of yoga, having studied with many of the most renowned teachers in the USA, India, and South Africa since 1984.  Karen has studied and incorporates all of the following into her intuitive teaching style:  Reiki, Qi Gong, Touch for Health Healing, Pilates, Pre-Natal movement therapy/yoga; Tang Soo Do, Gymnastics, and Ballet/Dance.  Karen is currently completing her Doctorate studies in movement therapy, healing modalities and metaphysics in Munich, Germany.
